Simboluri grafice utilizate pe echipamente. Partea 1: Aspecte generale şi aplicaţii
Standardul conţine simboluri grafice şi semnificaţia lor (titlu şi aplicaţie) utilizate pe echipamente şi care sunt destinate pentru: a indica stări de funcţionare (pornire, oprire, comandă); pentru a desemna conexiuni (borne, punct de alimentare); pentru a da indicii asupra ambalajului (identificarea conţinutului, instrucţiuni de manipulare); pentru a furniza recomandări pentru funcţionarea echipamentului (restricţii de utilizare)
