This document specifies requirements regarding design and test methods for power operated pedestrian doorsets. Examples of how the doorset constructions may be operated include: electro-mechanically, electro-hydraulically, electro-magnetically or pneumatically. This document covers safety in use of power operated pedestrian doorsets used for normal access as well as in emergency and escape routes and as fire resistance and/or smoke control doorsets. The type of doorsets covered include power operated pedestrian sliding, swing and revolving doorsets, including balanced doorsets and folding doorsets with a horizontally moving door leaf. This document deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to power operated doorsets when they are used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer. All lifetime phases of the power operated pedestrian doorsets including transportation, assembly, dismantling, disabling and scrapping are considered by this document. Cranes - Control devices and control stations
This document specifies health and safety design requirements for control devices and control stations and their operating positions for all types of cranes. Specific requirements for particular types of cranes are given in the appropriate European Standard for the particular crane type (see Annex B). This document does not deal with noise hazards because these are dealt with in safety standards for specific types of cranes. It also does not address the design of the cabin with regard to its sound insulation properties. This document covers specific hazards which could occur during the use of control devices and control stations. It does not cover hazards which could occur during transport, construction, modification, de-commissioning, or disposal. The hazards covered by this document are identified in Annex A. This document is not applicable to cranes manufactured before the date of its publication.

This document specifies a method for simulating the release of nickel from all post assemblies which are inserted into pierced ears and other pierced parts of the human body and articles intended to come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin in order to determine whether such articles are in compliance with No. 27 in Annex XVII of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council (REACH). This European Standard defines the process for assessment of the running characteristics of railway vehicles for the European network of standard gauge tracks (nominally 1 435 mm). In addition to the assessment of the running characteristics of vehicles for acceptance processes, this standard also defines quantities and dependencies that are not directly used for acceptance purposes. This information is for example intended for the validation of simulation models. It can also be used to define operating conditions outside the reference conditions to be used for the approval. The assessment of running characteristics applies to vehicles which: - are newly developed; - have had relevant design modifications; or - have changes in their operating conditions. The assessment process is based on specified target test conditions (see 3.1) given in this document. Rail dependent storage and retrieval equipment - Safety requirements for S/R machines
This document applies to all types of Storage and Retrieval (S/R) machines, restricted to the rails on which they travel within and outside the aisles for the storage and retrieval of unit loads and/or long goods such as bar materials and/or for order picking or similar duties. These machines shall embody lifting means along a mast and may include lateral handling facilities. Also included is the transfer equipment used to change between aisles. Control of machines may range from manual to fully automatic. S/R-machine-related satellite vehicles according to definition 3.20 are included as a load-handling-device (LHD). References in this standard to racking, buildings and systems only apply where it is necessary to assess the hazards and risks at their interfaces with S/R machines. This document deals with all significant hazards relevant to rail dependent storage and retrieval equipment, when they are used under the conditions intended by the manufacturer including reasonably foreseeable misuse (see Annex F "List of significant hazards")).
